Dr. Avinash Gupta

Avinash C. Gupta, MD, Section Chief of Cardiology at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (formerly Kimball Medical Center), joined the staff at Kimball Medical Center in 1994 and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Clinical Lipidology. He earned his medical degree at Rajendra Medical College, Ranchi University, Bihar, India. Dr. Gupta completed his residency in internal medicine at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY; and a fellowship in cardiology at SUNY, Health Science Center at Brooklyn, NY. He has a special interest clinical lipidology and preventative cardiology.

Dr. Gupta is member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, National Lipid Association and the American College of Physicians.
